Season Opening 2025 - Austria

  • Season Opening 2025 - Austria

We warmly invite you to the first "minitrip" of this year, hoping for favorable weather, just like last year.

When: May 16 - 18, 2025, in any weather (except for extreme snow conditions).

We will celebrate the start of the season and bring our cars out of winter hibernation.

We will visit three of the most beautiful roads in Austria and will again be staying at higher altitudes.

As part of the additional program, alongside special photo sessions and our popular "coffee" breaks, we will visit the Sigmund Thun Klamm gorge, enjoy a short walk around the lake, see a glacier, and explore a small museum dedicated exclusively to Porsche cars. On the return journey, you can look forward to either the Red Bull Hangar 7 or the Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden (preparations are underway, and the choice will depend on the weather).

Price: 8,735 CZK per person with a vehicle; 7,999 CZK per passenger. Payment information will be sent to you in a private message along with further details. Reservation confirmation will occur upon receipt of payment.

The price includes: mountain accommodation with half board in a double or multi-bed room depending on the hotel's capacity, communication equipment, itinerary, E-stamp for Austrian highways, towing insurance and a good mood.

The price is not affected by weather or other circumstances. We travel in any weather (except for extremes), and as always, we adhere to our "Ten Commandments," which can be found on our website.

Trip schedule

From Prague to Nockalmstrasse

On the first day, we will embark on our journey with stops along the way to Nockalmstrasse, where a unique alpine landscape awaits you. This picturesque route through the Nockberge mountains offers breathtaking views, with mountain peaks reflecting in tranquil lakes, creating an atmosphere that enhances your alpine adventure. After enjoying the scenery, we will move on to our accommodation. We will also make sure to stop at the Jungfernsprung waterfall before passing through the toll gate.

Note: We will start early in the morning to make the most of the day. Complaints about fatigue will only be accepted in the evening, when we can enjoy a glass of good beer or wine together!

Alternatively for foreigners, we can meet somewhere on the way if Prague is out of your reach.

Grossglockner and Surroundings

Throughout the day, we will explore the Grossglockner High Alpine Road, discovering the various attractions this area has to offer. We will visit viewpoints, a glacier, a museum, and enjoy a hike as well as some time in a café.

Return Home

A crucial part of our journeys is a safe return home. After breakfast, we will check out of our accommodation and head down to the Sigmund Thun Klamm gorge, located just a short drive from Zell am See. We will also hike to Klammsee lake nearby. After that, we’ll look forward to driving along the Rossfeld and Panorama roads, and after passing through Berchtesgaden, we may visit the Red Bull Hangar 7 in case of unfavorable weather. We will certainly return to the Czech Republic late, but with plenty of unforgettable experiences.
